Коло прощальне
Погляд останній униз
Пам’ять про землю
Навіки покинуту
Впаде дощем сліз.

Попелом сірим
Розсипало небо
Холодні колючі зірки
Падали, падали
В ніч листопадову
Сірі осінні птахи.

Тихо кричали
Зажуреним голосом
Розірваної струни
Колами, колами,
Крилами кволими
В небо злітали вони.

Ніч заховала
Від ока чужого
Тихий безшумний політ
Лиш візерунком
У небі залишиться
Птаха невидимий слід.

В світлі примарному,
В небі безхмарному,
Крила світилися в них,
Бачили двоє,
Востаннє і вперше
Жителів неба нічних.
