I was the fastest, the first one down the mountain
Then all of the other lions, surrounded me like a fountain
But, then one day they were gone like they never came at all.
With a big golden coat and a heart still on fire
But knowing I can't run after what I still desire

Not long ago I was the king of the hill

I was the cat they all looked up to...look at me now!
