Село в ночі свічок не світить,
боїться місяця збудити,
що жовтим без наймення квітом
цвіте в садах, дощем умитий.

Густа вода спливає з гребель,
де обрії спинились в леті.
У бурих кублах побіч себе
звірята, люди і комети.

Забута земле під дощами,
під оливом рудого неба!
Ця пісня серцю, наче камінь,
а все ж її співати треба.
