Маленькі вогники видно з далека.
Комиш мовчить і не шумить вода,
Там блукає човен без весла.

Не першу ніч човен там блукає,
Блукає човен, пару до весла шукає.
Він правди-істини незнає,
Що впари до його весла немає.

І тиха ніч, і весна, і зорі,
І мовчазний комиш, і вогники десь в морі.
Всі знають правду про човна,
Що він не човен, а байдарка.
