Казка Про Козака Та Чорта

Їхав із бою Козак з юрбою
На відпочинок до своєї дівчини.
Вона жила в місті - верст ще зо двісті
Коням летіти.
Аж стало темніти.

Зловив кілька гав та від своїх відстав,
Кричить з переляку: "Де ж ви, мої друзяки?!
Якого це бісу я в’їхав до лісу?"

"Чого мене кличеш? Може, душу позичиш?"
"Йой, Діва Пречиста! Згинь, сила нечиста!"
"Кінь та шабля хороші, та я дам тобі гроші
Будеш в мене служити - відьмочкам ноги мити."

"Не служу я нікому, тільки Богу одному,
Ні ляхам, ні татарам, і тобі я не пара."
Шабля свиснула вгору, та якраз в оту пору
Ранок півнем озвався - Чорт кудись подівався.
